Tiffany Ng Promoted to Associate Professor

We are thrilled to announce that Tiffany Ng has been promoted to Associate Professor of Music at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor!

Tiffany, an associate professor of carillon and university carillonist, is an energetic advocate of diversity in contemporary music and pioneer for interactive "crowdsourced" carillon performances and environmental-data-driven sound installations. She has featured in festivals all across the world, including the 2018 University of Chicago Rockefeller Carillon New Music Festival, 2017 University of Michigan Bicentennial, and UC Berkeley's very own 2015 Campanile Centennial. Holding a licentiate diploma magna cum laude from the Royal Carillon School "Jef Denyn", a PhD from UC Berkeley in musicology and new media, a master's degree from the Eastman School of Music, and a bachelor's degree from Yale University in English and music, Tiffany holds awards from the UC Berkeley Arts Research Center Fellowship, the U-M Institute for the Humanities Faculty Fellowship, and more.
