Announcing the Fall 2013 – Spring 2014 Art, Technology, and Culture Colloquium Lecture Series

"Art production utilizing photography covers a broad spectrum of concerns, intentions, and widely differing formal strategies, the common denominator is its collective resistance to any type of formal analysis, psychological interpretation, or aesthetic reading." - Abigail Solomon-Godeau

"I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones." - John Cage

Monday Evenings, 7:30-9:00 pm
Banatao Auditorium, Sutardja Dai Hall, UC Berkeley
ATC lectures are free and open to the public.

UC Berkeley’s Art, Technology, and Culture lecture series, founded in 1997, is an internationally recognized forum for ideas that challenge conventional wisdom about technology and culture. The series, free of charge and open to the public, presents artists, writers, curators, and scholars who consider contemporary issues at the intersection of aesthetic expression, emerging technologies, and cultural history from a critical perspective.
