Jill Miller & Adam Hutz Receive Creative Discovery Grants

In an effort to promote innovative pedagogy, Berkeley Arts + Design offers Creative Discovery Grants to undergraduate courses in amounts up to $5,000. BCNM faculty member Jill Miller and alum Adam Hutz were two of many esteemed recipients.

Miller received the grant for her Art Practice class, "ART160: Food Fight: Art and Food Security." She has previously taught courses such as "NWMEDIA 190: Critical Practices" and "NWMEDIA 201: Questioning New Media."

Adam Hutz will be utilizing his grant for Design Innovation, "DESINV 190: Technology Design Foundations." He has previously taught courses such as "NWMEDIA 190: Critical Practices," "DESINV 22: Prototyping and Fabrication" and "DESINV10: Discovering Design."
