The Literary Research Association held their 68th Annual Conference for Reclaiming Literacy Research: Centering Activism, Community, and Love this November 28th to December 1st in Indian Wells, CA.

BCNM Alum John Scott held two discussions for the conference. The first symposium explored relationships between literacy and data science by interrogating the possibilities and tensions that surface as computational logics are integrated into sites of literacy learning. John Scott presented "Learning analytics as assemblage: Critical literacies in online education" with T. Philips Nichols of Baylor University.

Later, Scott went to present "360 Degrees of Authorship: Virtual Reality Storytelling for a Global World" for a session for "Writing the World, Authoring Experience: Apps, VR, and Online Discussion.
