Alum Reginold Royston at ASA 2018

BCNM Alum Reginold Royston participated in multiple presentations at the 2018 African Studies Association Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. The ASA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of Africanist scholars in the world, with an attendance of about 2,000 scholars and professionals. For 2018, the theme of the African Studies Association was "Energies: Power, Creativity and Afro-Futures."

Royston presented "The Voice of the Diaspora: Examining How Podcasts Craft African Tech Futures" and participated in roundtables on the themes of "BLACK PANTHER and Afro-Futures" and "Ghanaian Popular Culture Studies: A Key Subfield in African Studies."
