Ken Goldberg at MIT Robotics Conference
Held annually, Robotics: Science and Systems was hosted this year in Cambridge, MA, drawing researchers from all interests of robotics together.
Ken Goldberg, with his research team, presented the astounding dataset, Dex-Net 2.0: Deep Learning to Plan Robust Grasps with Synthetic Point Clouds and Analytic Grasp Metrics, from their Dex-Net robotics project at the conference. Goldberg and his team have been gaining attention for developing unprecedented robotic gripping techniques! Last month, we covered a WIRED feature on their work.
