Alum Thérèse Tierney Publishes on Intelligent Infrastructure

BCNM Alum and Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Thérèse Tierney has published her new book "Intelligent Infrastructure" on the mechanisms that drive modern urban infrastructure.

Tierney's book of collected essays, publised by the University of Virginia Press, explores the unprecedented networking of urban landscapes, making way for "the smart city." Studying information, energy, sustainability, and social practices - to name a few - Tierney examines how our cities will become more connected than ever before.
