Ken Goldberg Joins The House Fund
Congratulations to Professor, Artist, and Roboticist Ken Goldberg as part of the Executive Committeee of the Berkeley Center for New Media on joining the House Fund.
The House Fund is a venture capital firm concentrating on startups associated with UC Berkeley and has successfully concluded it's third funding round, amassing a total of $115 million. In this case, The House Fund has closed its third tranche, Fund III, at $115 million. This implies that the fund has secured commitments from various investors, and the fundraising for Fund III is considered complete. The fund is now ready to disperse the raised capital to make investments in pre-seed and early-stage startups, particularly those affiliated with UC Berkeley and specializing in artificial intelligence, about 70% of the fund will be dedicated to this purpose.
