Alum Trevor Paglen at the Shanghai Biennale

Alum Trevor Paglen will be one of the participating artists at the 14th Shanghai Biennale, Cosmos Cinema.

This year’s edition considers how the terms of our relationship with the cosmos condition life on earth. Cosmos Cinema includes works by more than 80 artists working in China and around the world, dating from the early twentieth century to the present.

The 14th Shanghai Biennale, Cosmos Cinema, opens to the public on November 9, 2023. The biennale is curated by Anton Vidokle, Zairong Xiang, Hallie Ayres, Lukas Brasiskis, and Ben Eastham.

The exhibition includes an extensive program of performances, lectures, and screenings both in Shanghai and online.
