Vincente Perez is a Black Mexican-American poet, scholar, and writer working at the intersections of Poetry, Hip-Hop, and Black digital praxis. They are a PhD Candidate in Performance Studies and a 2021-22 Poetry & the Senses Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. His poetry has been featured in Digging Through the Fat, AoIR, River & South Review, and more.

"If I store my memories according to the story. My personal
Thumb drive keeps a steady grip on reality.
I’m on a therapist queue. Been networking for
Weeks now. I hope I get a call back.
I’ve never been on a blind date before. I wonder how
Long I should stay at the table before"
