Ken Goldberg on Grasping in Science News for Students

Science News for Students highlights the amazing work of Ken Goldberg and team in an article titled "Easy for you, tough for a robot" by Kathryn Hulick. Huluck describes how engineers like Ken are trying to reduce robots’ clumsiness — and boost their common sense.

From the article:

“Robots are klutzes,” says Ken Goldberg. He’s an engineer and artificial intelligence (AI) expert at the University of California, Berkeley. A computer can easily defeat a human grandmaster at the game of chess by coming up with better moves. Yet a robot has trouble picking up an actual chess piece.
