Alum Andrea Horbinski on the Untold History of Japanese Comics at Baruch College

Andrew Horbinski was one of two featured presenters at the fifth Manga Symposium held at Baruch College.

The one-day symposium brought together a lecture that discussed various studies in the Manga field. The Untold History of Japanese Comics highlighted Prewar and LGBTQ+ Manga.

Horbinski presented a lecture titled, "Norakuro and Friends: The Rise, Fall, and Triumph of Children's Manga, 1916-1957."
