The recent Forbes article "Don't Hit Snooze on Brookings Automation Alarm But Don't Stress Out, Either" by Rich Blake features Ken Goldberg calming some nerves over how automation will impact various employment sectors. "Creating AI has turned out to be extremely difficult," Ken says, in response to fears that artificial intelligence will replace workers.

"Claiming that jobs like repair and maintenance are likely to be automated doesn't make any sense," Goldberg said. "Those jobs require perception and dexterity far beyond the abilities of robots for the foreseeable future."
