Jacobs Institute Winter Design Showcase
On Wednesday, December 9, and Thursday, December 10, the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation will hold its first design showcase. The presentations will feature demos and project displays and allow the Berkeley public to interact with the student makers and explore cross-discipline design projects. The Critical Practices class (NWMEDIA 190/290) showcase on Thursday from 2:30-4:30 will feature work from BCNM students taught by Eric Paulos and Jill Miller. Critical Practices invites students to look at the intersection of technological innovation and socially engaged art, and students will incorporate hybrid forms and community engagement in their presentations.
To attend, please RSVP following the link at the top of the page. Refreshments will be provided.
