Revisited: Digital Humanities at Berkeley Summer Institute 2016
The Berkeley Center for New Media was thrilled to partner with Digital Humanities at Berkeley to help host the Digital Humanities at Berkeley Summer Institute, a week of workshops and lectures for the Berkeley community to gain critical technical competencies to support the production of digital humanities scholarship. With workshops ranging from computational and qualitative text analysis to Geospatial tools and database development, participants had the opportunity to develop their research with the latest resources. Classes were supported by a range of stellar presentations and lectures that situated the hands-on learning with real-life applications. Check out the photos from the event below, as well as the highlights of the various courses and lectures on offer!
