Moffitt Reopens!
Yesterday on November 2nd, 2016, the Moffitt Library reopened its top two floors after a year of rebuilding, maintenance, and modernization into a prime study destination for Berkeley students. Berkeley News covered the reopening in the article "Reimagined and revitalized Moffitt Library opens Wednesday," which described many of the new amenities and services available at Moffitt, including expanded seating capacity, flexible group study spaces, free locker storage, a tech help desk and a presentation practice studio. The article also featured the UC Berkeley Library's video "Center for Connected Learning: A Vision for the Future," in which you can spot many of our students and photos from BCNM events and spaces!
Moffitt will now be the only campus library open for 24 hours, five days a week. The new schedule starts Sunday, Nov. 27, with Moffitt open continuously from Sundays at 9 a.m. to Fridays at 10 p.m. On Saturdays, Moffitt will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
