Video Now Online: Jesse and Glenda Drew
Thrilled to share the video of Jesse and Glenda Drew's great lecture, which concluded the 2014-2015 Art, Technology, and Culture colloquium. Their discussion of wealth disparity, the difficulty of labor organization, and their own attempt to actively alter this field through well-designed new technologies â as seen by their project Stories of Solidarity â emphasized how art and design can make visible and encourage greater activism.
The 2014-2015 ATC series was hosted by the Berkeley Center for New Media, the Arts Research Center, and the David Brower Center. This lecture was co-sponsored by the CITRIS Data and Democracy Initiative.
