“Books in Browsers VII: Telling Small Stories” takes place November 3-4, 2016 in San Francisco, CA at the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts. Charting the birth of visual platforms, new stories are emerging in a many-media world. Images and videos alongside text are being adopted to form novel narratives, instructional materials, and scholarship. This shift is reframing what we see and how we learn.
