Irene Chien Joins Board of the Journal of Visual Culture
Over the years, the Journal of Visual Culture has had the privilege to count on an exceptional team of editors and supporters that have led and animate the many fields crossed by visual cultures and visuality. We're so pleased to learn that alum Irene Chien is the latest additiona to the Editorial Group. Irene, who graduated with a Ph.D. in Film and Media and a DE in New Media, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media & Communication at Muhlenberg College.
As JVC rapidly approach their 20th anniversary, they’re putting themselves to the task of rethinking roles in leading transversal academic and intellectual discussions beyond disciplinary boundaries across the Arts and Humanities. Irene joins the largest and most diverse Editorial Group in Journal of Visual Culture’s history, and the audience is looking forward to this new team initiating a new period of evolution and expansion.
