BCNM Welcomes New Faculty Member Eric Paulos
We are very pleased to announce that Eric Paulos will be joining the faculty at UC Berkeley as an Assistant Professor of Digital Media Arts in the Center for New Media and the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. Prof. Paulos comes to us from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
Prof. Paulos is both a researcher (focusing on topics such as mobile and ubiquitous computing, sensor technology, and human-computer interaction) and an artist interested in staging critical interventions on the nature of media and technology in modern society.
He received his PhD from Berkeley's EECS department and spent several years working at Intel's Research center. More information at paulos.net.
