Margaret Rhee — A Feminist History of Kimchi

BCNM DE Margaret Rhee has had her visual poetry installation "A Feminist History of Kimchi" exhibited at SOMArts gallery in "Eating Cultures" curated by Michelle Lee and Asian American Women Artists Association. This Friday, she will facilitating a kimchi poetry activity along with performance artist Erin O'Brien's "Sausage Homage" and Rene Yanez' "The Great Tortilla Conspiracy" at the closing reception. The reception will feature a community potluck where artists and viewers can bring a special dish and recipe to share on the intersections of food, art, and Asian American culture.
