BCNM at SHOT

We're so pleased to see such a great group of BCNM faculty and alumni presenting at SHOT 2022!

The Society for the History of Technology (SHOT) encourages the study of the development of technology and its relations with society and culture. As an interdisciplinary organization, SHOT is dedicated not only to the history of technological devices and processes, but also to the relationships of technology with politics, economics, labor, social change, business, the environment, public policy, science, and the arts and humanities.

BCNM presenters include:

Hannah Zeavin and Morgan Ames are the organizers for the research session on "Children & Technology: A State of the Field Roundtable" on Saturday 12 November 2022

Bo Ruberg will be a panelist for the "Gender and Technology: The State of the Field" research session on Saturday 12 November 2022

danah boyd and Meg Jones from Georgetown University will be the Organizers and Chairs of the research seminar on "Freedom of Information in Tech History" which will have a roundtable table setting with participation from the Audience.
