Revisited: BCNM Open House
We're back!
And to welcome students and faculty to campus, the Center for New Media hosted an exciting open house. Director Greg Niemeyer outlined the Center's action packed public programming for the Fall Semester, including sneak peaks into the highly anticipated Arts, Technology, and Culture colloquium line-up, the History and Theory of New Media Lecture Series, and the Fall conference: Image as Location. Summer fellows were on hand to discuss the progress — and pitfalls! — of their research projects and faculty discussed the new studies they are currently undertaking. Recent graduate Margaret Rhee even returned to debut her poetry making machine, built in the Invention Lab! BCNM was thrilled to see so many new collaborations forged as participants discovered new media connections across the disciplines.
