Ken Goldberg Lecture at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology

This past March, Berkeley Center for Law and Technology's (BCLT) 6th annual Privacy Law Forum featured BCNM's Ken Goldberg as a Keynote speaker.

Hosted in Palo Alto, CA, the conference drew leading tech companies, lawyers, technologists, privacy advocates and academics alike to discuss our most urgent privacy challenges.

Goldberg's presentation, "Too Close for Comfort -- AI, Cloud Computing, and Privacy," highlighted the uncertain territory in which artificial intelligence and citizens' security co-exist. Drawing on examples of big data, digital cameras, and cloud computing, Goldberg showcased his research on how diverse groups of individuals can work alongside machines to answer some of society's most difficult questions.
