Beth Piatote Joins BCNM

We are pleased to announce that Professor Beth Piatote is joining BCNM's Executive Comittee! Professor Piatote is a current Associate Professor of Native American Studies within the Ethnic Studies department here at UC Berkeley and a published writer, playwright, and essayist. Her areas of focus include indigenous law, literature, history, and visual art, and she is also a language revitalization activist and healer. She holds a Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University.
