Ken Goldberg Awarded Toyota Research Institute Grant

Congratulations to Ken Goldberg for being awarded a grant from the Toyota Research Institute University 2.0 Program.

The Toyota Research Institute awards innovative, rigorous, and impactful researchers who work on utilizing artifical intelligence to improve safety, mobility, and human ability.

Ken is a Professor in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. His research interests include robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and fog robotics among others. The $300,000 award from the Toyota Research Institute University 2.0 Program will go towards Ken's research on robot manipulation of 1D, 2D, and 3D deformable structures for home safety and decluttering!
