Xiaowei Wang's The Future of Memory Highlighted at UCLA

BCNM DE student Xiaowei Wang's The Future of Memory project was recently featured by the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture in a November 2020 collection of internet projects by artists from Los Angeles.

From the article:

The Future of Memory is simultaneously a text-based adventure game, a generator for invented language, and a collective toolkit for algorithmic resistance. As Xiaowei writes, “The piece explores the boundaries of translation, the ways language changes under algorithmic logic and the limits of machine intelligence.”
