Call for Participation: Contested Data

Alum danah boyd and Dan Bouk are running an incredible workshop at Data & Society, entitled 'CONTESTED DATA: What Happens When Givens Aren't Taken.'

This exciting workshop will be hosted in New York City on March 6, 2020 and focus on how data and data infrastructures lose their legitimacy. Applicants will also be able to submit papers to be workshopped, if you have a work in progress on a related subject, we strongly encourage you to submit it for consideration. Space will be limited, applications are due by November 25, 2019.

This sounds like a great opportunity to both dive into deep discussions on data contestations and to share your own work on the topic.
