Trevor Paglen as the Fall 2019 Lamar Dodd Chair at UGA

Trevor Paglen has been selected as the Fall 2019 Lamar Dodd Professional Chair at the University of Georgia.

According to the Lamar Dodd School of Art website, the Lamar Dodd Profesional Chair is "a short-term appointment of high distinction intended to honor artists of international standing who have achieved an extraordinary record of exhibition."

He is currently teaching an interdisciplinary seminar with Associate Professor Marni Shindelman titled Human Geography (for Art).

“Trevor has been very involved in the planning and development of the course. He will be leading 3 seminars on the methodologies behind his research and how it relates to current ideas in his work. The students are very excited about it," shares Shindelman.

Paglen will also be delivering a public lecture regarding his work in the mid-Spring of 2020.
