Introducing BCNM's New Program Officer
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Program Officer Nora Liddell. Nora has played an integral role in shaping the Berkeley Center for New Media over the last two years and we will miss her here in Sutardja Dai Hall. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors in Los Angeles, where she is relocating with her partner this July.
Replacing Nora this week is Lara Markstein. Lara comes to us from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she acted as the Business Manager for the curriculum in Global Studies, an interdisciplinary program with over 800 students. She holds an MFA from the Warren Wilson College MFA Program for Writers and a BA in English from Harvard University. Her first story was recently published by the Greensboro Review. She is excited to begin work with the BCNM team on the Center’s programs and events, and is thrilled to be joining the Cal community.
