Sarah Stierch Leads Wikipedia Editing Party

BCNM Susan Miller Fellow Sarah Stierch led a Wikipedia editing party on March 7th and 8th at the University of Oregon's Center for the Study of Women in Society. Thanks to the great work of participants, Wikipedia entries now exist for Paulina Lebl-Albala, Akiko Kobayashi, Vivian Wing-Wah Yam, Margaret Jewett Smith Bailey, Randi Altschul, The Lily, Johanna Elberskirchen, and Sandra Morgen.

The event was inspired by Women's History Month, and sought to increase the number of female Wikipedia editors as well as the coverage of women online.
