Ken Goldberg at 2015 Fortune Global Forum

BCNM's Ken Goldberg was a select participant at the 2015 Fortune Global Forum, which was held in San Francisco from November 2-4. The 2015 FORTUNE Global Forum drew upon the entrepreneurial spirit of Silicon Valley to explore the implications of disruptive technology trends for the 21st century corporation. The panel discussed the consequences to increasing the robotic workforce - would jobs be lost by the masses? While many argued that robot tech has not developed to that point, and may result in an influx of jobs to progress it to there, others say that it will just increase the disparity between the rich and the poor.

The participation of Global 500 CEOs and innovators, builders, and technologists from some of the most dynamic, emerging companies from all over the world facilitates relationship building at the highest levels. The FORTUNE Global Forum is hosted by the editors of FORTUNE and participation – limited to top CEOs and select experts – is by invitation only.

Ken presented in the "AUTOMATION, JOBS, AND THE FUTURE OF WORK" breakfast roundtable with Martin Ford, author of The Rise of the Robots: Technology and the Rise of the Humanless Future and Rajan R. Navani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Jetline Group of Companies. The roundtable was moderated by Geoff Colvin of the Fortune Intelligent Manufacturing Track, and was hosted by Make in India.
