Revisited: "Working the Stack: Exploits, Topologies, Ontologies"
Julian Oliver presented an overview of his work, which explores the increasingly surveilled world in which we live. His work tries to make people aware of the layers of infrastructure which our seemingly seamless access to the Internet and how at every stage the information we receive on screens and send to others can be intercepted, changed, or tracked.
Oliver seeks to make people aware of how the Internet actually works, and how people can use this knowledge to make more informed decisions about their information.
