thumbnailOn February 4, 2014 the Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies, with support from the Berkeley Center for New Media, brings to the UC Berkeley campus the 2012 feature-length documentary film Homeboy by Dino Dinco. In the film, Dinco shines light on a unique intersection of cultures, examining the lives of several gay Latino men living in and around the Los Angeles area who are former gang members. After the screening, Professor Raul Coronado of the Department of Ethnic Studies will lead a discussion with Dinco, film subject Cisco Rios, and audience members.
